WUD WHEELERS
Father's Day/Little Naches Run

June 16th-18th, 2006

Part 2
(Sunday's run)

Sunday morning Camo22, Dean and Top headed back home. They had a long drive ahead of them.

Yeti, Tiny, Test Dummy and I left our camp at Saw Mill flats and run up 1600 toward Little Bald Mountain.
We stopped for a nature call where 1706 came onto 1600.

After a quick break we headed on up to Little Bald Mountain.

The view was great. On the way back down we decide to see if we could get to Clover Springs.
We when up 696 a few miles crossing patches of snow. We came to some up hill snow climbs.

The snow was soft in places but we pressed on until Yeti got stuck.

Test Dummy pulled Yeti back out of the holes in the snow.

I had a long walk back up to my rig. I parked where I could get going again.

Yeti said he had enough of the snow wheelin' so we headed back down the mountain.
At 1706, we decided to run down a few miles to check it out.
620 looked like a good trail to go up so we did.

The trail didn't go very far. It stopped at a log frame.

After looking around we headed back to Saw Mill Flats.
Tiny and Test Dummy had to show us a hill climb that was near our camp.
I followed Tiny up this steep climb and then ran back down a little ways to take some pics of this awesome hill climb.

Well that was fun.

We went back to camp to load up for home.
This Father's Day run was great. I am glad I got to wheel with some cool people.
Who wants to go next year?
