The January 2006/MLK Slab Run
January 15th, 2006
On Sunday morning January 15th, 2006 we met up at the Slab around 11 AM. The road in next to the canal was muddy so I parked my tow rig at the first turnout and off loaded my XJ there. We drove on up to the Slab parking area to meet the others.

At this point of the run, Test Dummy's XJ's Dana 35 broke. He went and loaded his XJ on the Trailer and rode back with a friend.

After the seeing the big toys, we headed to the East Canyon Trail. I went down it and then turned around a climb back up it. It was really muddy so it made a good adventure.

The next play area was the South Canyon. I went down it the on the December Run, so this time I wanted to climb up it.

It took a few runs to get up on top of this spot.

Once on top, I slid into the wall and could not go any farther forward.

After all that fun, we had to head on home. Tiny pulled Jacob's Brat to his house. I went to my tow rig and found that someone had broke Test Dummy's driver's window and stoled his stereo. Next time we will park at the Slab parking area.
