WUD WHEELERS
November 2005 Run
Sedge Ridge

November 12th, 2005

Saturday November 12th, 2005 6 rigs left the WUD Wheelers cabin (Near Tampico, Washington) to find some snow. We headed up A2400 from Ahtanum Sno-park toward Red Saddle.

Three of us made it up to Red Saddle. The last climb was very slick. While we were waiting for the others, Test Dummy had to go under his XJ to put it in low range.

We waited awhile for the others but they didn’t come up. We couldn’t get them on the CB so Test Dummy headed down to see what the hold up was. A few minutes later Test Dummy radioed me and said Rattboy was in the ditch. Jake and I headed on down to meet up with the rest of the group.

Sir Pissalot anchored his Rubicon to a tree and winched Rattboy’s 4x4x460 out of the ditch.

After Rattboy was back on the trail we headed on down the hill.

We thought we would see if we could make it up 2420. A little ways up 2420 my Co-Pilot “Monster” had to stop for a nature call. So I got out to takes some pictures of the other rigs.

After a short break we headed on up the trail. We came up on a challenging hill climb. My tires were working hard to get traction. Three of us made it up.It was to slick for Rattboys heavy truck to make the climb. In this picture you can see Rattboy turning around at the bottom.

We all headed back down A2420 to A2400.

Sir’ Pissalot’s Rubicon and my Molly Mule at A2400 and A2420.

We went on down A2400 and on out through Ahtanum Sno-park.

That was our little snow run on Sedge Ridge. We went back to the cabin and had a great time.
