We met in Tampico around 10 AM.

We ran the North Fork Ahtanum Rd. to Nasty Creek Corals and headed up.

About 5 miles up Nasty Creek Rd. we turned onto private land. We aired down and started to sink in the snow as soon as we started moving up the trail.

We powered through the loose snow for about 1/4 mile, a little at a time. We couldn't get that far up the mountain because the snow wouldn't pack and we were digging in deeper. We couldn't get all the way on top of the snow. It was like driving in sand.

Only one rig had to be pulled out. I thought I was stuck a few times. Somehow I kept my rig moving.

We all got turned around and headed back down.

We stopped near the Nasty Creek Corals to see what everyone wanted to do.

Some of the guys took off and then one rig broke. We headed home.
