On August 11th, 2007 we met up the AWORC camp on FS590. After Waycrazy fixed his CJ5 we headed out to Milk Creek road FS1708 and then on up. FS1708 turned into 4W686 right around the corner from where we turned onto Milk Creek Road because the land slides. We turn on FS589 to 4W685.


4W685 took us back onto 4W686. Here we had a few routes we could take. All of them were loose and dusty.




At the top we turned onto 4W694 and ran it to Funny Rocks. A few of the guys played on them.

After a little time there we back tracked 4W694 and ran it to 4W307 (Tripod).


We next turned on 4W308 (Shoestring). We stopped for lunch at Region 4 Meadows. After a short time we were on our way.

I was driving the wife's Tweety Jeep. It was a little funner to drive because of the new mods.

At the 4W308 & 4W309 intersection Scuba had to stop to fix his tie rod.


As Scuba was fixing his XJ another group came by us on 4W309 (String). After they past a CJ came up from behind us. There was two real nice guys in it that decided to come a long with us. We didn't get very far when Waycrazy broke his steering.

After Waycrazy got his CJ drivable we get around the corner and Scuba's front tire goes flat.


Printthis came back down and aired Scuba's tires up. Then we were on our way. At the top of the climb we turned onto 4W306.


We turned off 4W306 onto 4W676 (Kaner Flat).

Here is the end of 4W617 (Lilly Pond) at FS590. Our camp was just down the hill from there.
